As an Air Tox CEMS technician, Zach assists with CEMS installation and integration for our customers. To meet our customers’ repair / replacement needs and in preparation for CEMS projects, Zach assists in ordering CEMS component parts. As a draftsman, Zach is responsible for generating detailed AutoCAD diagrams of CEM systems for use in CEM design, installation, integration and recordkeeping. Zach performs CEMS service tasks ranging from system maintenance and repair to performing quarterly CEMS audits.

As an environmental technician at Air Tox, Zach is responsible for assisting with manual method stack emissions testing in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. Duties at the shop include calibration of sampling equipment, equipment repairs, and organization of sampling equipment. Duties in the field include set-up of sampling equipment, troubleshooting, isokinetic sampling and accurate data recording. Zach has experience with source sampling for particulate matter, multiple metals, dioxins/furans, ammonia and hydrogen chloride.

Prior to joining the Air Tox team, Zach studied Electrical Technology at Baran Institute of Technology in East Windsor, Connecticut.
